BLUE PLANET

As the world goes into bloom celebrating summer, I’ve been thinging about Hydrangeas and the science and magic of alkaline and acid soils.

For years, I changed our white and blue hydrangeas in the front yard from purple to pink and back again.

All that was required was some pH altering soil and a little patience. Thinking about it this morning, I also began to think of the color altering but also preserving qualities of pH on bone.
